Trump likened the presidency to other hazardous endeavors. He named car racing and bull riding. He said that, as in those endeavors, death can be unexpected. He expressed that if he had understood the risks sooner, perhaps he would not have become a candidate. He kept repeating that it is a highly risky occupation.

Trump Was Confronted with Several Threats in the Past

Trump has also been the subject of numerous assassination plots. One of them occurred during his campaign speech in Pennsylvania last year. A shooter fired bullets at a building as Trump was making the speech. Trump was hit in the right ear.

More Threats Followed After the Rally

Later, during Trump's golfing time in West Palm Beach, Florida, security spotted a man carrying a gun alongside the fence. The individual was shot and apprehended. A few days later, police spotted another man carrying a gun close to the National Convention. He was carrying an AK-47 in a backpack. The Fox News reported the event.
