Government Joins Hands with Quantum Industry Leaders

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu urged the nation to embrace quantum computing. He appreciated TCS, IBM, and L&T for collaborating with the state government. A new quantum park is being established in Amaravati through their collective efforts.

National Workshop on Quantum Valley Organized in Vijayawada

The state government conducted a national workshop on "Quantum Valley" at Vijayawada in a hotel. Senior officials of the central government and leaders from key industries like IT, pharma, trade, and construction participated in the meet. CM Chandrababu spoke to the audience.

Vision for Technology Growth in Andhra Pradesh

Chandrababu laid out his previous initiatives for the growth of the IT sector. He remembered having met Bill Gates in his first term as Chief Minister. He had invited L&T to construct a high-tech city under a public-private partnership model. Subsequently, L&T created IT infrastructure in Bangalore and Gurugram.

Plans to Develop Amaravati as a Tech Hub

The Chief Minister mentioned that he had always envisioned India turning into an IT hub of the world. He favored establishing numerous engineering colleges within erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. Now, various IT companies are setting their footprints within the capital zone. His government wants to turn Amaravati into a hub of advanced technologies.

Focus on Startups and Quantum Innovation

Chandrababu said that his government is now concentrating on quantum technology. The government is also inviting startup firms to start operations in Amaravati.
