RailOne App Launched: All Railway Services Now In One App

RailOne Offers Unified Railway Services

The RailOne super app has been initiated by the Indian Railways. It houses all the major railway services on one platform. Previously tested as SwaRail, the app is now officially open for usage as RailOne.

Main Features of the RailOne App

Through RailOne, users are now able to access a number of railway services with ease:

  • Make reserved and unreserved tickets booked
  • Purchase platform tickets
  • Make use of train enquiry facilities
  • Check PNR status
  • Plan travels
  • Seek rail help
  • Order meals on trains

The app is for both Android and iOS.

Why RailOne Was Built

Previously, every service had its own app or site. RailOne consolidates them all in a single location. This is convenient so that users don't have to keep switching between various apps for different purposes.

Launch and Future Plans

The Railways tested the app for several months before its release. It was officially launched by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav during the anniversary event of the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS), the organization behind its development.

The Railway Department plans to add more services to RailOne in future updates.
