Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has urged the public not to believe false news going viral on social media regarding the hotel food prices in Tirumala.
The officials said that a message was going around stating a drop in food prices in Tirumala hotels. They clarified that this piece of information is untrue and misleading.
Legal Action Against Those Who Spread False News
Official authorities stated that the information provided within the viral message is against genuine prices and services. They further said that sharing such false information creates confusion among devotees and weakens public trust. Legal action will be initiated against the culprits.
Only Official Sources of Information Can Be Trusted
TTD appealed to devotees to seek correct updates only on their official website, www.tirumala.org, or through the TTD helpline number 18004254141.
They also urged individuals not to spread unverified information on social networks. Only the official sources should be used by all devotees to get any information regarding Tirumala services.
