Akhilesh Yadav Backs RJD for Bihar Elections
Samajwadi Party leader and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav declared full support for the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. He addressed the media in Lucknow on Monday.
Akhilesh said that his party is with both Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav. He further said that his party, during the election campaign, will expose fake scams relating to the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh.
Allegations against BJP and Nitish Kumar's Role
Akhilesh denounced the BJP for not planning to reinstall Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister. He said the BJP is politically utilizing Nitish Kumar but has no intention of reinstating him to the CM position.
He stated that previously, the BJP had attempted to portray Nitish Kumar as a future Prime Minister, but now the dynamics are different. He added Nitish is likely to retire from active politics soon.
Concerns Regarding Overlooked Issues
Akhilesh criticized the BJP for overlooking major national issues. He said the party shuns genuine discussions and attempts to divert the public's attention from serious issues.
He also claimed that the Uttar Pradesh people are looking forward to a change in the 2027 Assembly polls. He stressed that the next election would be very different from the past.
