Deputy Chief Minister Responds to YSRCP Leader's Statements
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has condemned the remarks made by YSRCP leader Nallapareddy Prasannakumar Reddy. These remarks were against Nellore district Kovur MLA Prashanti Reddy.
Remarks Called Objectionable and Disrespectful
Pawan Kalyan said that the words used were unsuitable. He added that they insulted the dignity of women. He also said that such remarks have become the order of the day from YSRCP leaders.
Warning Against Personal Attacks
He asked why some leaders comment on personal issues. In his opinion, all democrats should be against disrespecting women.
Legal Action and Public Reaction
He issued a warning that insulting a woman's dignity could be against the law. He said similar statements were previously made in the Legislative Assembly. The public reacted to such statements by voting. He has faith that the women's community will react strongly again.
