Lifetime Warranty on High-Voltage Batteries Announced
Tata Motors launched a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage (HV) batteries of its Nexon.EV (45 kWh) and Curvv.EV (45 kWh, 55 kWh) models. This advantage would be applicable for both existing and new customers of the electric SUVs.
Battery Pack Options and Warranty Coverage
The Nexon.EV is offered in two battery options: 30 kWh and 45 kWh. Yet, the lifetime warranty is only valid for the 45 kWh variant. The Curvv.EV is offered with 45 kWh and 55 kWh, both of which are included under this new warranty.

- Nexon.EV: ₹12.49 - ₹17.19 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Curvv.EV: ₹17.49 - ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
Long-Term Value and Cost Savings
As per Tata Motors, the extended battery warranty will improve the resale value of these EVs. It will also cut down on maintenance costs by approximately ₹8–9 lakh over 10 years.
Exclusive Loyalty Program for Existing Customers
Tata Motors is providing a ₹50,000 advantage to existing Tata.EV owners if they switch to the Nexon.EV 45 kWh or Curvv.EV under an exclusive loyalty program.
Harrier.EV Comes With Lifetime Battery Warranty
The Harrier.EV, which was launched recently, is also available with a lifetime HV battery warranty. Prices for this model range from ₹21.49 to ₹30.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
