Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu said that former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao had made a lasting impact on the development of India and the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. He called PV a great statesman who had in-depth knowledge and experience.

Referring to the sixth installment of a lecture series in Delhi on the "Life and Legacy of PV," Chandrababu brought out PV's two standout qualities of speaking 17 different languages and his career as Prime Minister, Union Minister, and Chief Minister.
Economic Reforms Led by PV Narasimha Rao
Chandrababu remembered that PV Narasimha Rao steered the nation through dramatic economic reforms. India was very badly hit by economic upheavals during the 1990s. Chandrababu stated that the conditions were volatile because of flawed policies. PV brought in the required reforms which redirected the economy.
IT Sector Growth Linked to PV's Decisions
He further stated that PV's policies set the country on the path of the IT revolution. These actions opened up new avenues in technology and services. Chandrababu stated these advancements had a long-term effect on the growth of India.
Leadership Under Minority Government Commended
Chandrababu also complimented PV Narasimha Rao for keeping calm and dignified behavior even during his minority government tenure. He stated this demonstrated PV's adherence to responsible governance.
