Luxury at a Reasonable Price with Electric Power
JSW MG Motor has introduced the MG M9 electric limousine in India. The vehicle is available at ₹69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will begin from August 10. Buyers can book the vehicle by paying ₹1 lakh on the MG Select website or at exclusive experience centers in 13 cities.
Battery and Range
The factory-fitted MG M9 has a 90 kWh NMC battery. In a fully charged condition, it provides a driving range of 548 km. The electric motor is capable of delivering 245 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. It also has an 11 kW wallbox charger and a 3.3 kW portable charger. MG provides a lifetime guarantee for the high-voltage battery and a 3-year unlimited kilometer guarantee for the vehicle.
Interior Comfort and Features
Interior, MG M9 provides luxury at its best. It has presidential seats that are 16-way adjustable. The seats also offer ventilation, heating, and 8 massage programs, and all are controlled through an intelligent armrest. The vehicle comes with premium leather trim. It features a 13-speaker sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, dual yacht-style sunroof, and 1,720 liters of boot space.
Exterior Design
The M9 features a trapezoidal front grille and split LED headlights. The rear end includes waterfall-style LED lights. The car uses 19-inch CantiSeal self-sealing tires. It comes in three color options: Metallic Black, Concrete Gray, and Pearl Lustre White.
Safety and Smart Technology
MG constructed the M9 with ultra-high-strength steel. It received 5-star safety ratings from Euro NCAP and ANCAP. The safety features are 7 airbags, ADAS Level-2, and a driver monitoring system.
Market Competition
MG M9 will challenge the Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival, and Lexus LM in the Indian market. JSW MG Motor MD Anurag Mehrotra said the M9 symbolizes increasing demand for luxury electric vehicles in India.
