Honda Introduces Two New Bikes for the Indian Market

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has reached 25 years of operation in India. To celebrate this achievement, Honda unveiled two new motorcycles. These include the Shine 100 DX and the CB 125 Hornet. Both models will go on bookings from August 1.

Honda Shine 100 DX Targets Hero Splendor Segment

The Shine 100 DX maintains Shine styling with added new graphics. It sports a 98.98 cc fuel-injected engine. The engine provides 7.28 bhp at 7500 rpm and 8.04 Nm torque at 5000 rpm. The motorcycle has a 4-speed gearbox and employs Honda's Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) technology. The company states that ESP assists in boosting mileage as well as performance.

It comes with a long seat for increased comfort. A digital LCD instrument display indicates real-time mileage and range. The bike features a side-stand engine kill and CBS braking system. Ground clearance is 168 mm. Imperial Red Metallic, Genie Gray Metallic, and Athletic Blue Metallic are the available colors.

CB 125 Hornet Targeted At Young Riders

The CB 125 Hornet has a sporty look for youthful customers. It also has full LED lights and a massive fuel tank. The bike is powered by a 123.94 cc fuel injected motor. The engine churns out 10.99 bhp at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. It has a 5-speed transmission.

The bike has a 0-to-60 km/h run time of 5.4 seconds. It also has a 4.2-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app. Other features include ABS and an engine stop switch. It is available in four dual-tone colors.

Hero Launches HF Deluxe Pro with Improved Mileage

Hero MotoCorp has launched the HF Deluxe Pro at Rs. 73,550. The new model is built for fuel efficiency and features new upgraded features. It comes with the same 97.2 cc engine as the previous models. The engine produces 7.9 bhp at 8000 rpm and 8.05 Nm torque at 6000 rpm.

According to Hero, the motorcycle employs i3S technology, which increases mileage.
