IRCTC Introduces Special Ambedkar and Jyotirlinga Circuit Tour

IRCTC has launched a new tour package called 'Ambedkar Yatra with Panch Jyotirlinga Darshan'. It is a combination of visiting five of the major Jyotirlingas and significant places associated with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The tour begins from Secunderabad Railway Station on August 16 and concludes on August 24 via the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. The entire trip is for 8 nights and 9 days.

Destinations Covered in the Tour

The journey covers the following destinations:

Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Ujjain
Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga
Deeksha Bhoomi Stupa, Nagpur
Swaminarayan Mandir, Nagpur
Ambedkar Janmabhoomi, Mhow
Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Nashik
Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, Pune
Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, Aurangabad

Secunderabad, Kamareddy, and Nizamabad are boarding points for the tour. The tour package offers rail and road travel, accommodation in hotels, and food. Fares vary according to the class of travel.

Day-Wise Tour Schedule

Day 1: Departure from Secunderabad at 2 PM. Transit stops at Kamareddy (4:30 PM) and Nizamabad (5:40 PM).
Day 2: Arrival at Nagpur Railway Station (8 AM). Sightseeing of Deeksha Bhoomi Stupa and optionally Swaminarayan Mandir.
Day 3: Journey to Ujjain and sightseeing of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. Hotel accommodation during the night.
Day 4: Sighting of Ambedkar Janmabhoomi in Mhow. After lunch, sightseeing of Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. Train starts from Ambedkar Nagar to Nashik.
Day 5: Arrival at Nashik. Overnight hotel stay.
Day 6: Sighting of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga. Train ride to Pune.
Day 7: Arrival at Khadki Railway Station (Pune). Visit to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga. Overnight train to Aurangabad.
Day 8: Arrival at Aurangabad. Visit to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga. Departure train back to Secunderabad.
Day 9: Back to Nizamabad (12:20 AM), Kamareddy (1:32 AM), and Secunderabad (4 AM).
