Honda Shine 100DX And CB125 Hornet Launched In India

New Prices Announced by Honda

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the prices of two newly introduced motorcycles. The Shine 100 DX comes with a price tag of ₹74,959 (ex-showroom). The CB125 Hornet is available at ₹1.12 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models can now be booked from August 1.

Honda Shine 100DX: Key Features

The Shine 100 DX retains the same structure as the current Shine model. It features a 98.98cc fuel-injected engine. The engine produces 7 bhp at 7500 rpm and 8.04 Nm torque at 5000 rpm. The bike features a multiplate wet clutch and has self-start and kick start features. 

It is offered in four colors:

  • Pearl Igneous Black
  • Imperial Red Metallic
  • Athletic Blue Metallic
  • Genie Gray Metallic

Honda CB125 Hornet: Specifications and Design

The CB125 Hornet has a sportier design to appeal to younger consumers. It comes equipped with LED lighting, such as a twin LED headlamp. It has a fuel-injected engine with a capacity of 123.94cc, which delivers 10.99 bhp at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. A 5-speed transmission aids in smooth gear shifting.

  • ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)
  • Engine stop switch

The CB125 Hornet can accelerate to 60 kmph in 5.4 seconds.

The CB125 Hornet is offered in these color combinations:

  • Lemon Ice Yellow with Pearl Serene Blue
  • Pearl Igneous Black
  • Athletic Blue Metallic with Pearl Serene Blue
  • Sports Red with Pearl Serene Blue

It will compete with bikes like the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider.
