AI Platforms Rebut Economic Collapse Claims
Artificial intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT and OpenAI are commonly used nowadays. Such platforms have the ability to respond to different questions. Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently said that India's economy has died. But when this statement was put forward before various AI platforms, their feedback proved the contrary.
Five top American AI platforms were queried if India is a dead economy. Each of the five gave answers rejecting the statement. For instance:
ChatGPT replied, "The Indian economy is not fallen. It is dynamic and glorious."
Grok replied, "No. India is not a failed economy. It is one of the world's top fastest growing major economies."
Gemini replied, "The Indian economy will expand robustly."
Meta AI and Copilot also provided similar responses favoring India's economy.
Trump's Statements on Tariffs and India's Trade Relations
Trump recently declared a 25% tariff and punishment on India as a result of its continued trade with Russia. Soon after, he spoke critically about both Russia's and India's economies, labeling them dead economies. He further expressed that those countries do not care about their foreign trade choices.
India formally dismissed Trump's statements. Union Minister Piyush Goyal replied by stating that India is still one of the world's fastest growing big economies.
Mixed Political Responses in India
Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition, defended Trump's remark during a Lok Sabha meeting. He asserted that Trump's comments were true and accused only the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister of being ignorant of the reality. He also accused the BJP government of destroying the economy, defense, and foreign relations of the country.
However, many leaders within his own party criticized his remarks, showing a lack of agreement on the issue.
