Government Instruction
The Union Home Ministry has directed state and union territory governments to invite people praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to the ‘At Home’ program. Governors and Lieutenant Governors will host the event at Raj Bhavan on Independence Day.
Guest Categories
The invitation list should include:
- Persons with disabilities
- Environmental activists
- Family members of martyrs
- Winners of major sports tournaments
- Notable academicians
- Health workers
Other Arrangements
The President will stage a similar event at Rashtrapati Bhavan. People participating will be the Prime Minister, Union Ministers, diplomats, top defence officials, and other dignitaries.
