Declaration by Avinash Reddy
Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy declared that he will boycott the repolling on Wednesday in two polling stations of the Pulivendula ZPTC elections.
He stated TDP leadership committed malpractices in all the booths on Tuesday's polling. His party went to court over this charge. The TDP can say that the election process in all centers was transparent except two, as per him. He thinks the decision for repolling can be invoked in court for proving that the election process was fair in all centers except two.
Avinash Reddy declared that they will not participate in what he called a political game plan of the TDP. He also indicated that if repolling is held under the central security forces in all 15 polling booths in Pulivendula, his party will participate.
Details of the Repolling
Repolling is being held today at polling stations 3 and 14 under Pulivendula ZPTC. Combined, these centers have approximately 1,000 registered voters.
