Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said India's independence was a result of numerous leaders' sacrifices. He participated in the Independence Day celebrations in Kakinada and hoisted the national flag.
Government Schemes
Pawan Kalyan said that the 'Super Six' scheme is ongoing, with a special emphasis on women welfare. A free travel by bus scheme for women, Stree Shakti, is being initiated.
Comments on Former Government
He referred to the time from 2019 to 2024 as a challenging time for the state. He likened it to that of colonial rule, citing that the government of the time limited freedom. He averred that the present regime collaborates with the freedom fighters' spirit.
Law and Order and Political Criticism
As per Pawan Kalyan, good law and order is required for the reception of investments and growth. He condemned opposition leaders for raising allegations of vote rigging when they lose but accepting defeat when they win. He accused that during the YSRCP regime, dissent was met with reprisal and corruption was rampant.

Pawan Kalyan stated that ever since the coalition government came to power, the citizens of Andhra Pradesh were living with more freedom.
