Trump Claims He Ended Seven Global Wars In Seven Months

Statement on US Progress

US former President Donald Trump told the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) that America was in awful condition one year ago but had become a new era of power in his time. He presented the nation as being in a "golden age" and said no country was anywhere close to its level.

Claim of Ending Conflicts

Trump boasted that he had concluded seven wars within seven months. He portrayed some of the wars as taking decades, with thousands of deaths. The wars, he said, were:

  • Israel–Iran
  • India–Pakistan
  • Rwanda–Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Thailand–Cambodia
  • Armenia–Azerbaijan
  • Egypt–Ethiopia
  • Serbia–Kosovo

Trump boasted that these wars were believed to be endless but concluded during his time in office.

Criticism of the United Nations

Trump criticized the UN for failure to intervene in global conflicts. He insisted that the organization had stayed away and never called him during the negotiation of these wars. He asserted to having spoken directly with the leaders of the involved nations, with the UN not intervening. Trump also suggested he deserves the Nobel Prize for bringing the wars to an end.

Comments on Russia-Ukraine War

Talking about the howling Russia–Ukraine war, not only did Trump accuse India and China of prolonging the war by purchasing Russian oil and gas, but he also criticized European and NATO countries for refusing to drop significantly in terms of energy imports from Russia.
