Jayam Ravi's House Faces Auction Over Loan Default

House Auction Notice

Actor Ravi Mohan, also known as Jayam Ravi, has a problem with his house in Injambakkam, Chennai. His house is to be auctioned out by the authorities. A notice was issued because of loans taken against the property and which have not been repaid. This news has rapidly gone viral on social media.

Bank Loan Details

Reports indicate that Ravi Mohan took a huge loan from a private bank to purchase this house. The outstanding amount has now exceeded ₹7.60 crore as he defaulted on the monthly installments. Bank authorities said they had sent several reminder letters. Since there was no reaction, they went ahead with issuing the auction notice.

Past Allegations

Ravi Mohan has also incurred controversies with a film production company, Touch Gold Universal. Controversies point out that he was given an advance of ₹6 crore for two films but took up other projects instead. For this reason, the production house has asked the authorities to impound his property.
