Series Announcement
The BCCI Selection Committee has named the India A team for the ensuing three-match ODI series against Australia A. The series will start from September 30 and all the matches will be played in Kanpur.
Captaincy and Leadership
Shreyas Iyer is picked as the captain of the ODI team. He comes back to the team after an absence in the longer format. Iyer captained during the unofficial Test series too but was absent in the second game after a poor performance in the first. Dhruv Jurel captained in his absence.
For ODI series, Tilak Varma will be joining from the second match and will be vice-captain. He, along with Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana, will be filling the gaps in the last two matches.
