US President Donald Trump stated that the Gaza war could soon come to an end. He said that hostages can be brought back under the same agreement. Trump hoped for the speedy signing of an agreement. Trump made these comments while at the White House before embarking on the trip to the Ryder Cup golf tournament in New York. The terms of the offered agreement were not released.
Trump declared: "It looks like there's going to be a deal in Gaza. It will be a hostage return deal. It will be an end-of-war deal."
US Peace Proposal
The United States developed a 21-point proposal for peace in West Asia. The proposal was presented to the Saudi, UAE, Qatari, Egyptian, Jordanian, Turkish, Indonesian, and Pakistani officials. Trump's remark regarding Gaza has gained attention in light of this initiative.
Israel's Position
