Team India skipper Suryakumar Yadav reacted on Monday. He said that it was heartening to hear the Prime Minister backing the players. In his opinion, if the head of the state comes forward, it seems that he himself is playing and running with the bat. Yadav further said that this kind of support makes the players confident and they play freely. He added that when the team goes back home, the celebrations around the country inspire them even more.

The mention of "Operation Sindoor" is a reference to recent military strikes following the Pahalgam terror attack. Indian forces attacked terror camps in Pakistan, who responded in kind later.
