Trump Says Nobel Peace Prize Should Follow If Gaza Conflict Ends

Former U.S. President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that it would be an embarrassment to America if he were not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He asserted that his efforts had averted seven wars.

Addressing military commanders at Quantico, Trump spoke about his plan to end the war in Gaza. He said that Israel had already consented to end combat. He continued that the plan has to be accepted by Hamas as well. Trump also said that if Hamas did not comply, harsh action would be taken against the organization.

He added that if the Gaza plan unveiled on Monday is successful, it will be considered ending an eighth war. Trump said that he does not individually pursue the Nobel Prize, but he feels that the United States would be worthy of it. He had confidence that the award might follow should the Gaza conflict be brought to an end.
