As a Dussehra treat, the film has left audiences impressed with its visuals and narrative. Indian cricketer KL Rahul, too, shared his appreciation for the film in his Instagram story recently.
KL Rahul posted, "I just watched Kantara Chapter 1. Again, Rishabh worked his magic. He beautifully captured the devotion of the people of Mangalore on screen." The production team of Kantara saw his post and were delighted. The team added that it was a moment of pride for all those who worked in the film and appreciated KL Rahul for his kind words.
KL Rahul had earlier also talked about how much he loved Kantara. His post-match celebration with the Delhi Capitals when they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore had gone viral on the internet. When queried about the same, he said, "After the game, my celebration was from one of my favorite films, Kantara. It was my expression of having grown up playing here."
