Chandrababu Naidu’s Direction to Party Leaders
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu urged party leaders to ensure the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the state. He conducted a teleconference to discuss the arrangements and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts.
Naidu brought to the fore that the state gains a lot from the double-engine government policies — the joint initiatives of the central and state governments. He asked the leaders to make the trips of PM Modi to Srisailam and Kurnool well-organized and effective.
Key Developments and Investments
The Chief Minister said that Andhra Pradesh entered into an agreement with Google to have a Google AI Data Hub, a scheme the Prime Minister and Union Ministers introduced. Naidu welcomed the initiative of Minister Nara Lokesh to secure the investment of Google.
He told that Google will invest $15 billion, the biggest foreign direct investment in India. This investment, according to Naidu, will not only provide the state an economic but also digital boost.
Overcoming Past Challenges
Naidu described how the policies of the past government resulted in enormous setback for the state. His government has been working to undo that blow and promote growth. Initiatives like YogaAndhra and Amaravati Restart were undertaken with success to restore core sectors.
Regional Development Focus
Chief Minister requested wholehearted support in ensuring success for the 'Super GST Super Savings' campaign, which will involve the Prime Minister also. He also added that the state government is bringing new industry to the Rayalaseema region with an emphasis on industrial and tourism growth.
Naidu explained that the earlier government had neglected irrigation schemes, but currently the government is giving importance to them. He further explained that Tirupati, Srisailam, and Gandikota are being promoted as major tourist spots in a bid to raise funds for the state's economy.
Vision for Andhra Pradesh
Chandrababu Naidu ended with the remark that all one should strive for is a healthy, prosperous, and happy Andhra Pradesh. He urged leaders to unite and strive to ensure this becomes achievable and for the Prime Minister's visit to be a success model.
