
Infosys Introduces Employee Referral Bonus
Amidst large-scale layoffs in the tech industry, Infosys has introduced a new program of employee hiring. It has asked its employees to search and recommend perfect candidates for vacant positions. To encourage employee participation, Infosys is offering referral bonuses in the way of up to ₹50,000 as payment for successful hiring.
According to an internal email shared with employees, employees may refer professionals with relevant experience and skills. On successful selection through the selection process and joining Infosys, the referring employee will receive the bonus amount of the open level.
Referral Bonus Structure and Eligibility Criteria
Infosys laid down a clear incentive structure:
- ₹10,000 for Level 3 positions
- ₹25,000 for Level 4 positions
- ₹35,000 for Level 5 positions
- ₹50,000 for Level 6 positions
The organization also made it clear that the referred individuals must not have already appeared in the Infosys hiring process within the last six months.
Departments and Needs for Recruitment
The referral scheme is being implemented in numerous divisions, some of them being:
- Engineering
- Quality Engineering
- Strategic Technology Group
- Enterprise Application Integration and Services
Infosys is recruiting professionals with two to fifteen years of experience depending on the job description. Recruitment is open for various offices across India.

This is while some of the major technology firms, such as TCS, have been posting huge layoffs recently. Infosys, however, is focusing on recruitment through referral so that it can enhance its talent pool and bring in key personnel.
The company is also set to announce its Q2 numbers on October 16. Besides this, Infosys has begun a process of review of performance that will also lead to future revisions of salary for employees.
