The President declared that Vivek Ramaswamy is currently a candidate for the position of Governor of Ohio-a position very dear to his heart. Background of Vivek Ramaswamy

Vivek Ramaswamy was born in Ohio to parents who immigrated from Kerala, India. He earned a degree in biology from Harvard University. In 2024, he ran against Trump in the Republican presidential primary and later withdrew, very publicly to endorse him. Since exiting the race, Ramaswamy has supported Trump’s campaign efforts.
