Vida VX2 Go Launched With 3.4 KWh Battery: Price, Range, And Features

Overview

Vida, the electric vehicle brand of Hero MotoCorp, on Wednesday added a new variant, the Vida VX2 Go. The scooter comes fitted with a 3.4 kWh battery and has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.02 lakh. This large battery option was earlier available only in the VX2 Plus variant; it is now also available in the VX2 Go model. Deliveries are likely to commence later this month.

Battery as a Service (BaaS) Option

Another option is the Battery as a Service (BaaS) subscription model. Here, the ex-showroom price of the scooter would be Rs. 60,000. Once purchased, users will pay subscription fees depending on usage. According to Vida, this would cost about 90 paise per kilometer.

Performance and Range

The VX2 Go is powered by a 6 kW electric motor good for 26 Nm of torque. Two riding modes are supported, namely Eco and Ride. Vida claims a real-world range of up to 100 km on a single charge, and top speed is capped at 70 km/h.

Charging and Convenience

The VX2 Go has removable batteries, which users can charge either at home or in the office. It improves the convenience and flexibility of usage on a daily basis.
