Rising Popularity Before Release
Google's 'Nano Banana 2', a new image generation model, has become a sensation over the internet much before its release. A number of pictures were shared on social media, claiming to be made from it. The images are noted for their realistic details, accuracy, and creative quality.
The first version of the Nano Banana model appeared in Google's 'Gemini 2.5 Flash' project, which became popular for generating photos through natural language prompts and making complex edits to images. Reports say Nano Banana 2 will deliver even stronger performance.
Improved Capabilities and Technical Features
Technology experts said the new model shows tremendous improvement in text rendering, creating infographics, generating charts, integrating with world knowledge, and interpreting complex user commands. Insiders said Google briefly exposed the model on internal or partner platforms before taking it down. This has triggered speculation that the official launch may happen within the week.
Nano Banana 2 is expected to support resolutions of 1K, 2K, and 4K. It most probably will offer more than one option of an aspect ratio: from 9:16 to 16:9, which is convenient for different formats of media.
Viral Images and Public Reactions
Many social media users have already published images purportedly created with Nano Banana 2. Some of these show web layouts or user interface screenshots featuring very accurate design elements, while others present creative compositions-like an image featuring Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Vladimir Putin on a vintage monitor-demonstrating the advanced creative potential of the model.
Possible Link to Google's Next AI Generation
Analysts also believe that Google's planned Gemini 3.0 model could be integrated or related to Nano Banana 2. A relationship here would place Nano Banana 2 as an important development step for Google's AI image creation capability.
