Price and Design Overview
Yamaha has launched the XSR 155 motorcycle in the Indian market. Ex-showroom price has been priced at Rs. 1.50 lakh. The bike follows a neo-retro design featuring classic looks combined with modern features.
Engine and Performance
The Yamaha XSR 155 comes fitted with a 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit. It puts out 18.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The bike comes equipped with a 6-speed gearbox that offers smoother gear shifts and better control.
Looks and Features
In essence, the XSR 155 draws its designs from the Yamaha FZ-X, including LED headlamps and tail lamps, a flat single-piece seat, and a compact overall structure that adds to the comfort and commanding road presence of the bike.
Technology and Connectivity
The motorcycle will feature Yamaha's latest tech suite, which also includes a traction control system that provides better grip and stability. The bike also supports the Motorcycle Connect app, through which riders can check the status and performance data of the bike on their mobile phones.
Safety Features
Safety-wise, Yamaha has fitted a dual-channel ABS system on the XSR 155 to improve braking performance and increase the rider's confidence under most riding conditions.
