AI Tools Still Make Errors
Google CEO Sundar Pichai called on users not to rely entirely on artificial intelligence. He stated that consumers should cross-check such information with other credible sources. He added that AI systems, even if invented with the latest technology, can still commit errors. He urged people to continue with powerful information tools and not to rely on AI alone. He said users trust Google Search for accurate results, and Google will continuously update other useful products. He also added that AI Tools help well for creative endeavors but people need to learn how to use them correctly and not use them blindly.
AI investments can be unstable.
Pichai spoke about investments in AI and the trend doesn't seem rational, he said. He mentioned that Google had added an "AI mode" to its Gemini chatbot search in May as a way to create an expert-like experience for users. With such improvements, he said, errors can still appear in the system. He warned that the fall of the AI investment bubble will affect every company in the industry. While Google can bear the result of some impact, no company can escape it.
