Realme has introduced two new smartphones to its GT lineup for the Indian market, with the launch of the Realme GT 8 Pro and Realme GT 8 Dream Edition. The GT 8 Pro sports the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a jointly developed camera setup with the Japanese imaging company Ricoh. Key specifications and price are below.
Display and Performance
Realme GT 8 Pro sports a 6.79-inch QHD+ BOE Q10 Flexible AMOLED display. This display has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. In addition, it has protection via the Gorilla Glass 7i.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
Camera Setup
The rear camera setup includes:
- 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera
- 50MP ultrawide camera
- 200MP telephoto camera
The front camera has a 32MP sensor for selfies.
Battery and Charging
The device houses a 7,000mAh battery, which supports 120W wired fast charging.
Variants and Pricing
Realme will sell the GT 8 Pro in two different storage options:
- 12GB + 256GB: ₹72,999
- 16GB + 512GB at ₹78,999
The GT 8 Pro Dream Edition comes in only one variant:
- 16GB + 512GB at ₹79,999
Pricing and Offers Sales for both variants begin from November 25. Those who buy the GT 8 Pro will be given a free deco set along with a ₹5,000 bank discount. It will go on sale through major e-commerce portals and the Realme official website.
