Wedding Postponement Update
Smriti Mandhana had postponed her scheduled Sunday marriage with music director Palash Muchhal as her father fell ill. Later, close friends confirmed that Palash, too, suffered health problems on Sunday night. He was immediately admitted to hospital.

According to doctors, Palash was suffering from viral infection and acidity. Media reports at the national level said he was discharged after treatment.
Health Condition of Smriti Mandhana's Father
Mandhana's father also fell ill on Sunday. Presently, he is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sangli.
Wedding Preparations Before Postponement
The couple started their wedding celebrations a few days back. The events started with mehendi, followed by haldi and sangeet. It was Mandhana's manager who told that the wedding might be postponed considering her father's condition.
