Tenth Term As Chief Minister: Nitish Kumar Enters World Book Of Records

Nitish Kumar has assumed the office of Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth time. He was sworn in following the NDA's landslide win in the recent Bihar Assembly elections.

This feat has been recognized by the World Book of Records. A congratulatory letter has been sent to Nitish Kumar by it, citing that becoming Chief Minister for a tenth time is a rare achievement in democratic history.

In the letter, the World Book of Records wrote: "It is a matter of pride for India that you are the first person sworn in as Chief Minister ten times from the years 1947 to 2025, which is a rare achievement in Indian democracy. The success reflects the trust and respect the people of Bihar have in your leadership."

The organisation also pointed out that the works of Nitish Kumar in governance, development, and social welfare inspire many people.
