US President Donald Trump appeared in the media and addressed the issues he considers important during his presidency. He talked about economic development, the securing of the national borders, his policies regarding immigrants, and tariffs against other countries. Additionally, he mentioned ending several international conflicts, including the ones between India and Pakistan.

Trump claimed that he ended eight wars during a period of ten months. He claimed that he prevented Iran from having nuclear weapons. In addition to this, he took credit for resolving the Gaza crisis and achieving peace in the Middle East. All this and much more were touted as huge successes of the Trump administration.
Statements on Tariffs and Investment
During the time he was answering queries on tariffs, Trump revealed that tariffs were responsible for the influx of investment amounting to $18 trillion in the US. This is the kind of economic growth he thinks is achievable because of tariffs. Trump admitted that he likes the word "tariff." Other countries had been using tariffs against the US for many years, but times have changed.
Effect of Globalization on Domestic Manufacturing
Trump said that many businesses are bringing their operations back to the United States. He said that those products that come from the United States don't have any tariffs. It encourages businesses to make products in the United States, thus creating employment.
Cash Reward for Military Personnel
The US President made an announcement that there would be a reward of $1,776 for every US soldier as Christmas. He called this reward the “Warrior Dividend.” According to the President, the reward is an appreciation of the services of the US military. More than 1.45 million US military servicemen will receive the reward before Christmas.
