The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, also participated in the Christmas morning service at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi. In the service, he joined other Christians in praying.
Modi posted images of the event on the social networking site X. Earlier, he wished people a merry Christmas, pointing out that the teachings of Jesus Christ encourage unity in society.
Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan also extended Christmas wishes. He said that the message of Christ encourages the construction of a robust society. Moreover, the ideology of Jesus Christ helps in the achievement of eternal peace among relations.
