Suzuki E-Access Launched In India At Rs. 1.88 Lakh

Suzuki Motorcycle India, the Indian division of the Japanese motorcycle company, has presented, as its first electric scooter, an electric model of its universally acclaimed Access scooter dubbed as the Suzuki e-Access underlines its commitment to go electric. The Gurugram manufacturing facility will be responsible for the production of e-Access domestically.The Suzuki e-Access has to go through a tough electric scooter segment. Among them are the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and Ather Rizta.

Battery, Motor, and Performance

  • The big battery spanning in the Suzuki e-Access is that of the 3.07 kWh lithium iron phosphate type. Suzuki provides a range of 95 kilometers on a single charge which is quite impressive. The e-scoter comes with an electric motor which is 4.1 kW and its power is then translated into a peak torque of 15 Nm.
  • The company claims it would take 4 hours 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent with a portable charger. A fast charger can do the full charge in 2 hours and 12 minutes. The maximum speed allowed is 71 kilometers per hour.

Features and Technology

  • A complete digital instrument console is available on the scooter. It provides three riding modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B. Moreover, regenerative braking and a reverse mode are also part of its features.
  • Other than that, Bluetooth and app connection, USB charging port, and LED lighting are available as extra. The e-Access of Suzuki comes in four colors.

Availability, Warranty, and Offers

  • Initially, the Suzuki e-Access was shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Customers can either book the scooter at Suzuki dealerships or through Flipkart.
  • The warranty offered by Suzuki is of 7 years or 80,000 kilometers maximum. Up to ₹10,000 loyalty bonus can be claimed by existing Suzuki customers. The welcome bonus for new customers is ₹7,000. Financing is also an option with a starting interest rate of 5.99 percent.
