According to Khamenei, the United States must accept that their efforts have been futile as Iran will not succumb to pressure from outside. In addition, he encouraged American politicians to stop deception and not depend on the so-called traitors who are supposedly working against Iran which he calls mercenaries. He concluded his statement by declaring that Iran is strong and ready to take on its enemies.

US Actions and Tariff Plans

The airstrikes option against Iran was one of the possible moves indicated by the Trump administration as part of its strategy. Shortly after this, President Trump declared that the tariffs would be raised by 25% immediately. The countries that trade mostly with Iran are China, Turkey, UAE, Iraq, and India.
