US Naval Deployment in the Region
- The United States Navy has deployed US destroyers together with the USS Abraham Lincoln to the area. The USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. USS Spruance and USS Michael Murphy are among the ships that have reached the vicinity. The US Central Command confirmed the deployment and stated that the forces are present to support regional security and stability.
