Details of Anthropic’s New Tool
Anthropic introduced their Cloud Opus 4.6 model to the public. The model enables users to create their own C compiler. The company reported that 16 Cloud AI agents operated together during testing. The agents succeeded in building a compiler which contained approximately 100000 lines of code within two weeks. The compiler has the ability to compile the Linux kernel.

A C compiler is software that converts code written in the C programming language into machine-readable instructions. The computer’s CPU then executes these instructions in binary form, using zeros and ones. Tech experts consider compiler development to be highly complex.
