Focus on Education and Global Integration
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India needs to establish international educational connections at a quicker pace. He explained that artificial intelligence and automation represent essential contemporary domains.
- Modi spoke during a post-budget webinar held in Delhi on Monday. He stated that government operations concentrate on meeting public demands. According to him, education and skill development along with healthcare and tourism and sports and culture sectors need to develop for the country to achieve its objectives.
- He also noted that people now consider science and technology and engineering and mathematics as essential elements for national progress.
Strengthening Health and Skill Development
- The government built up healthcare capabilities through Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Arogya Mandir programs according to Modi. The programs work to enhance medical infrastructure and access to medical services throughout India.
- He explained that Ayushman Bharat wellness centers function as medical service providers for rural populations. The development of these facilities has led to progress in India’s healthcare infrastructure.
- The Prime Minister observed that modern methods of training become essential for all new service sector employees who require specialized skills.
Youth, Sports, and National Development
- Modi explained that youth power becomes national strength when young people develop health and self-discipline and build their self-confidence.
- He said that Khelo India program funding has enabled sports development throughout India. He explained that athletic development programs enable organizations to identify and nurture upcoming athletes.
- He also highlighted the role of the National Education Policy.The policy supports a curriculum that aligns with current market demands.
- In addition, Modi encouraged growth in creative and digital industries such as animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics.
Modi Congratulates Nepali Leaders
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Nepali leaders after the recent elections in Nepal. He spoke by phone with Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and senior leader Balendra Shah.
- During the conversation, Modi said India remains committed to cooperation for the mutual progress and prosperity of both countries. He expressed hope that joint efforts will further strengthen relations between India and Nepal in the coming years.
- He also extended his wishes to the new government in Nepal.
