Record-Breaking Tenure
- The Prime Minister of India has completed his longest term in office which began since he took office as Prime Minister. His career includes periods of serving as Chief Minister of Gujarat and his subsequent work as Prime Minister of India.
- He has maintained his position for a total of 8,931 days in office. The time exceeds the earlier record which Pawan Kumar Chamling held after leading Sikkim for 8,930 days.
- Modi reached this accomplishment on Sunday. National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders together with Union Ministers celebrated his extended period of public service.
