Missile Attacks on US Bases in Gulf Nations
- The West Asian conflict has now reached a more severe level. The Gulf nations have faced increased attacks from Iran which launched its latest wave of assaults. The Iranian government carried out missile attacks against American military facilities located in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
- The attacking forces injured American soldiers according to officials. The Prince Sultan Air Base military aircraft suffered damage during the attack. Multiple explosions occurred throughout various Israeli areas according to local sources who reported the incidents.
- The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that its defense systems successfully intercepted both missiles and drones which targeted Riyadh. The attacks caused damage to multiple commercial buildings in Kuwait according to local reports.
- The Iranian government agreed to permit humanitarian and agricultural shipments through the Strait of Hormuz according to a new agreement. The United Nations requested this permission which led to the agreement.
Israeli Strikes on Iranian Military and Nuclear Sites
Israel has maintained its military campaign against Iran through continuing operations. The airstrikes which began their attacks one month ago still conduct operations. Defense Minister Yoav Katz reported that recent attacks targeted:
- Ballistic missile production facilities
- Weapon manufacturing units
- Missile launch sites
Israel declared that it destroyed facilities which processed nuclear materials. The officials described this operation as a major reduction of Iran's nuclear advancement capabilities.
Iran declared that it would respond to attacks against Tel Aviv through military retaliation.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a UN agency, reported widespread damage inside Iran:
