Voting Begins In Tamil Nadu And West Bengal

The voting process started on Thursday in both Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The entire state of Tamil Nadu is conducting elections in every electoral district while West Bengal has commenced its initial electoral round. Authorities project that a significant turnout of voters will participate in the upcoming elections.

Tamil Nadu Voting

The voting process in Tamil Nadu takes place across 234 electoral districts. The voter base consists of around 57.3 million individuals who qualify for voting. The group consists of 29.3 million females and 28.3 million males. A total of 4,023 candidates are contesting. The main competition exists between three parties which include DMK and AIADMK and TVK.

West Bengal First Phase

West Bengal has initiated its voting process for 152 electoral districts. The voting process will involve more than 36 million voters who will include 17.5 million women. The primary electoral battle exists between Trinamool Congress and BJP.

Security Measures

The authorities have stationed security personnel to maintain order during the voting process. The organization has established strict protocols to stop any potential security incidents.
