The National Security Summit 2.0 event which ANI organized became the platform for him to declare that India stands prepared for extended warfare.
Operation Sindoor Halted by Choice
- Rajnath Singh explained that India decided to stop “Operation Sindoor” on its own. The operation began after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He explained that the decision to stop operations occurred because of strategic purposes rather than any actual limitations to their operational capabilities.
- He stated that the Army, Navy, and Air Force worked together in close coordination. According to him, the forces started the operation on their own terms and ended it at the right time.
Strong Coordination Among Armed Forces
The minister highlighted the joint effort of the three services. He said their coordination showed the strength of India’s defence system. He added that India remains prepared for any future escalation.
Terrorism as a Global Concern
Rajnath Singh described terrorism as a serious threat to humanity. He explained that the battle against terrorism exists to protect human rights while defending national security.
Criticism of Pakistan
- Rajnath Singh criticized Pakistan during his speech. He described it as a center of international terrorism. He explained that terrorism remains a complicated problem which needs complete elimination from the world.
- He stated that Pakistan maintains its support for terrorist activities. India has developed into an information technology center while Pakistan continues to support terrorism activities.
