Vivo has officially launched the latest T-series smartphone, the Vivo T5 5G in India. The new smartphone incorporates a large 7,050mAh battery and 144Hz 1.5K curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor plus a 50MP Sony OIS camera.

The Vivo T5 5G has been unveiled as a performance focused smartphone for users seeking a premium display, long battery life, gaming performance and capable cameras.

Vivo T5 5G Price in India

The Vivo T5 5G price in India starts at ₹34,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The smartphone is available in multiple configurations:

• 8GB + 256GB: ₹44,999
• 12GB + 256GB: ₹49,999

Vivo is providing the smartphone in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. The handset will start selling in India from September 9, 2026.

Vivo T5 5G Display

The Vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate.

The display offers a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels and supports HDR10+. Vivo has highlighted high brightness and a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, making it suitable for watching videos, gaming and everyday entertainment.

The curved design gives the device a more premium look while maintaining the body being slim at just 7.99mm.

MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo Processor

For performance, the Vivo T5 5G is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset.

The processor is paired with the MediaTek NPU 850, which is supposed to enhance on-device AI processing. Vivo claims the smartphone obtained more than 1.2 million points on AnTuTu on their testing conditions.

The phone also comes with a large vapour chamber cooling system to maintain performance while playing for extended durations of time.

7,050mAh Battery With 44W Fast Charging

One of the key highlights of the Vivo T5 5G is its 7,050mAh battery.

The smartphone supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. Vivo claims the large battery is meant to deliver longlasting usage like up to 34.7 hours of local video playback under their testing conditions.

Battery life is one of the key selling points of the new Vivo smartphone.

Vivo T5 5G Camera

The Vivo T5 5G comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup.

The camera system includes:

• 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS
• 8MP ultra-wide angle camera
• 32MP front camera

The main camera comes with optical image stabilisation, which can be handy to stabilise images and video. The phone also supports 4K video recording from either the front or rear cameras as per Vivo's specifications.

Vivo has also incorporated AI powered photography features like AI Erase and AI UHD on the device to edit and enhance images.

Vivo T5 5G Software

The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Vivo has promised three major OS upgrades and five years of security updates, giving the buyers a longer software-support cycle.

The device also comes with various features focused on on-device AI and smart productivity.

The Vivo T5 5G comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo also highlights military-grade durability tests, wet-hand touch support and other environmental protections.
