Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Arrives In India With Twin-Cylinder Power

Royal Enfield has introduced the new Bullet 650, in the Indian market. It lands in the company’s slowly growing 650cc crowd and basically mixes the familiar Bullet look with a bigger twin-cylinder engine. The ex-showroom price starts at ₹3,64,856. Buyers get to pick between Cannon Black and Battleship Blue paint, depending on mood, or whatever.

The Bullet 650 is now the newest card in Royal Enfield’s middleweight stack. In the same general space, you’ll also find the Interceptor 650 , Continental GT 650, Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Classic 650 , so yes it’s a pretty crowded 650 lineup.

Royal Enfield Keeps Pushing the 650cc Move

Royal Enfield is still strengthening its footprint in the 650cc category. This new Bullet 650 seems aimed at riders who want that traditional motorcycle vibe, but also hope for better expressway performance and more linear, smoother power delivery along the way.

With this debut, the firm now sells multiple motorcycles built around its twin-cylinder platform. Each one follows its own riding posture, plus a different design personality. The Bullet 650 leans more into classic cues, with a more relaxed riding comfort, kind of easy-going from town to highway.

Color options (two in total)

  • Cannon Black
  • Battleship Blue

Classic Bullet Look, but a Bigger Power Unit

The Bullet 650 keeps the recognizable face of the smaller Bullet 350. The silhouette still sticks to the traditional Bullet identity, which many riders already associate with the brand.

Up front, there’s a round headlamp along with Royal Enfield’s usual “Tiger Eye” pilot lamps. The fuel tank keeps the classic teardrop shape, so the bike wears that retro character without trying too hard. You also get a single-piece seat, which keeps the overall setup simple, and pretty clean in appearance.

So overall, the Bullet 650 blends old-school styling with this larger engine foundation, which helps it feel more planted, and confident on the road.

Engine and Performance Details

Powering the Bullet 650 is a 647.95cc parallel twin engine, sort of, it’s air-and-oil-cooled on purpose. The setup is simple but it works in the real world.

It makes:

That wheel combo helps with steady handling while keeping the motorcycle’s traditional visual vibe intact.
