Narendra Modi Highlights Innovation Growth During France Visit

Narendra Modi says innovation is basically a core strength of India, or something along those lines. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that innovation is a fundamental part of India’s identity and he mentioned it during the India Innovates event in Nice, while he was in France on a visit.

He also said that India is working on new solutions for a sustainable future and well, in his view many young innovators in the country are coming up with technologies and ideas that can help people across the planet. It sounded like he wanted to stress that this isn’t just talk but actual momentum.

India Expands its Innovation Ecosystem

Now, according to Narendra Modi, India also has a lot of potential in artificial intelligence (AI). He further mentioned that government reform efforts will keep backing growth and innovation, as if the support is continuous, not only once.

Modi noted that India has over 200,000 startups. He said these startups support the Indian economy, and at the same time they’re also contributing to the global economy. He added that India isn’t simply a consumer of innovation anymore but is gradually turning into an important contributor in the global innovation ecosystem.

Macron Praises India–France Cooperation

French President Macron spoke at the event too and he showed support for the Make in India initiative. He said France collaborates with India across several sectors, like a partner, not just a distant friend.

Macron also described India as a country that’s recognized for innovation, and he pointed out that France and India cooperate in areas like artificial intelligence and climate action.

Opportunities for Future Collaboration

Macron then pointed to ways for even stronger cooperation between India and France, especially in civil nuclear energy. He said the two countries can keep expanding their partnership in strategic sectors, and it can go beyond what they already have.

Overall, the event seemed to mirror the growing relationship between India and France, with both leaders leaning on innovation, technology, and sustainable development as key topics, or priorities, for what’s next between them.
