The IT company released a statement confirming his arrival at the region on a personal visit when the disaster occurred.
They stated that they are reaching out to authorities to get an update on his whereabouts as they keep in touch with his family for support.

As the search for missing persons continues, reports indicate that hundreds of Indians went missing or were stranded following the disaster.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, approximately 320 Indians have gone missing while 400 others were stranded in China after the floods in Nepal overwhelmed the border.
MEA is on standby to do everything possible to assist Nepal to the best of its ability.
They stressed that 153 Indians stranded in China have returned to Nepal, while 21 Indians in Kathmandu arrived in New Delhi.
