Xiaomi has released the new Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max in India, adding two new smartphones to the popular Note series. The upcoming devices are focused on battery life, display quality, camera features, durability and fast charging.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features a large 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge support, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro offers a 9,000mAh battery and 67W charging. Both devices feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and run Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Price in India

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will be available in India in two variants. The reported selling price is ₹44,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, while the higher 12GB + 256GB version costs ₹55,999. The current launch offers may provide additional benefits depending on the retailer or payment method.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro will start from ₹36,999, while staying below the Pro Max version and featuring numerous key features from the series.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Specifications

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi lists up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, plus a high touch-sampling capability for responsive interaction and gaming.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile platform which is built on a 4nm manufacturing process. The device comes with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

10,000mAh Battery and 100W Charging

Battery life is one of the main highlights from the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. It offers a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge support. Xiaomi also lists up to 27W wired reverse charging, which will enable the smartphone to power compatible devices.

Camera Features

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max comes with a 50MP primary rear camera, which has OIS support, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The main camera also supports features such as HDR, portrait mode, Pro mode, panorama and Ultra HD photography.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets a 32MP front camera. Xiaomi states that both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.

Display and Software

Both of the devices feature a large 6.83-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing for smoother scrolling, animations and supported games.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will run Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Xiaomi also lists features such as Dolby Atmos, dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 6.0 and an IR blaster.
