Previous Attacks Raise Bollywood Security Concerns
AICWA’s message comes amid rising safety concerns for Bollywood celebrities following a spate of attacks and threats in recent times. The statement released by the association recalled the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence, the attack at Saif Ali Khan’s house, the firing incident outside Rohit Shetty’s house, and numerous attacks at Kapil Sharma’s café. It noted that the attacks signify a concerted effort by unknown persons to intimidate members of the film industry.
Mumbai Police Investigate The Tiger Shroff Firing Incident
The Mumbai police investigation into the Tiger Shroff shooting incident is underway as the authorities work on identifying the suspects and unraveling the modus operandi used to carry out the attack. The police are expected to follow up on any leads they get to identify the persons behind the attack. Notably, online social media posts have implicated a criminal syndicate in the attack. However, police need to verify the claims and gather sufficient evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the attackers were part of a crime cartel.
Film Industry Demands Enhanced Security Measures
The controversy around the Tiger Shroff shooting incident has become a major security concern for Bollywood personalities. The film industry wants appropriate security measures put in place to protect celebrities and their family members from similar attacks. The AICWA has also called for an end to the menace of organized crime in Bollywood, threatening to shake the film industry if it does not stop.
